Built on kindness. Backed by expertise.

We created IRIE to be a place where women can feel welcome, supported and completely at home in movement.

Built on kindness. Backed by expertise.

We created IRIE to be a place where women can feel welcome, supported and completely at home in movement.

A place where you belong.

IRIE was created for women who don’t necessarily feel at home in traditional fitness spaces.

Women of different ages, bodies, abilities and life stages are welcome here.

No pressure to keep up. No need to prove anything.

Movement is adapted to you – not you to the movement.

Welcome to IRIE

IRIE /’eye-ree’/ means “everything is alright.” The word comes from Jamaican culture, and captures what we want you to feel when you walk through our door:

You are welcome here, exactly as you are.

IRIE is also inspired by the phrase “I Respect I Eternally” – a reminder that you know your body better than anyone else, and that self-respect means learning to listen and respond to its signals: knowing when to pause, when to adapt and when you’re ready to challenge yourself a little further.

More than a fitness studio

When we redesigned IRIE, people kept asking me:

“But Gina… why? It’s already beautiful.”

Because I wanted it to feel even more welcoming.

That’s why our waiting area feels more like a living room than a reception. Come a little early. Sit down. Have a cuppa. Chat. Take a moment.

The details matter to us. A warm space. Somewhere to leave your things. Room to settle in before class. A studio that feels calm and welcoming rather than intimidating.

And everything was created by ourselves, Gina and Viktor – choosing, painting, building and changing things until the space felt like IRIE.

Because IRIE isn’t designed to get you in and out. It’s designed to make you feel at home.

Meet the people behind IRIE

Gina Prónay-Zakar
Founder | Personal Trainer | Pilates Teacher | Women’s Health & Exercise Specialist

I founded IRIE after more than 15 years working in fitness and movement, with a particular focus on helping women build strength and confidence through different stages of life.

I’m a qualified Personal Trainer, Advanced Mat Pilates Teacher and Pre- & Postnatal Exercise Specialist, with further specialist training across women’s health, menopause and strength training.

I believe good coaching starts with understanding the person in front of you – and never stops learning.

Viktor Dobos
Co-Founder, Personal & Group Trainer | Drum ’N’ Fit Instructor

A rock drummer as well as a qualified Personal & Group Trainer, Viktor brings together two worlds at IRIE: music and movement.

Gina’s husband leads the Drum ’N’ Fit classes, combining rhythm, coordination, cardio and a considerable amount of fun. Behind the scenes, Viktor is also the person who somehow does everything – from graphics and sound to fixing and building – so that by the time class starts, all the rest of us have to do is move, sweat and laugh.

His approach is simple: exercise should feel accessible, enjoyable and worth coming back to.
