One of my favourite things about teaching Pilates is that the changes often happen quietly.

You might first notice that getting out of bed feels easier, carrying the shopping doesn’t feel quite so heavy, or you’re sitting a little taller at your desk.

Over time, many women tell me they feel stronger, move with more confidence, have fewer everyday aches and simply feel more comfortable in their own bodies. Those small changes soon add up to something much bigger.

I’ve never done Pilates before. Can I still join?

Absolutely. Our Mat Pilates classes are beginner-friendly, and every exercise can be adapted to suit your experience, fitness level or any injuries. You don’t need to be flexible or fit before you start – that’s what we’re here for.

I’m not very flexible. Is Pilates still for me?

Definitely. One of the biggest myths about Pilates is that you need to be flexible before you begin. In reality, Pilates helps you gradually improve your mobility, strength and body awareness over time.

What if I have back pain or another injury?

Many people join Pilates because they’re looking to move more comfortably. However, every situation is different, so if you have a medical condition, recent injury or persistent pain, please get in touch before booking. We’ll be happy to advise whether the class is suitable for you.
